Channing Tatum turns producer for adaptation of ‘The Contortionist’s Handbook’
Channing Tatum is set to produce and star in The Contortionist’s Handbook, a film adaptation of the best-selling novel by Craig Clevenger. The actor will play a forger who moves swiftly from one identity to another, never allowing his past to catch up with him, until he meets a troubled woman with secrets of her own, reports Deadline.com.Tatum was first noticed for his role as a rebellious hip-hop dancer in the 2006 film Step Up, which has since spawned a successful franchise.
He went on to star in the recent film G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, and has been filming The Dilemma with director Ron Howard.
This will be Tatum‘s first foray into producing, while the script will be written by first-time writer Robin Shushan.
