Custom T-Shirts Today
Anyone who ever wore a sports jersey or uniform should try custom sublimation shirts. Two of the most popular is the direct-to-garment printing (DTG) and heat transfer. Let us take time to discuss them individually.
Direct To Garment
DTG is the most modern way to create custom clothing. It uses a laser printer to implement the design for almost any article of clothing. When it comes to quality and accuracy, there are other methods could hold a candle to the DTG. The downside is that it can be expensive. In fact, equipment and material costs are too expensive for most small print shops.
When it comes to cost and quality, heat transfer somewhere in between DTG and screening. Without getting too technical, the heat transfer is basically a patch, often made of vinyl, which is printed and then ironed onto a blank garment. Most custom t-shirts for kids with Superman or Batman emblem emblazoned on them were made using this process.
When the elaborate design and polychromatic, customers should consider the DTG or heat transfer. Because costs can be considerable, DTG is often reserved for smaller orders. heat transfer, on the other hand, produce relatively inexpensive, high-quality design, but the patch feels like patches, which some people do not like. They can also crack and peel over time.
