How to Perform Maintenance on Curing Ovens

Curing oven is an important product used in the powder coating process. The problem with the oven can cause the part to be half cooked, or not fully healed. This is where care comes in. By making sure the oven is maintained on a periodic basis, performance will always be up to par.

Convection oven requires the most amount of maintenance because of their design. Components such as burners, blower, and ductwork require regular maintenance. You can also look for high performance industrial oven panels online.

Curing Oven Industrial Maintenance Schedule

Oven can undergo treatment on a weekly, monthly, or yearly. Given below is a weekly maintenance schedule.

Flame failure Detector: This safety device designed to prevent raw fuel from leaking into the oven. If the detector fails, it can cause an explosion. Always check whether the detector operates. Follow the manufacturer's recommendations for maintenance.

Igniters and burners: Check the ignition system and the size of the spark. must be strong enough spark to ignite the fuel. Ignition wires, spark plugs, transformers, and control must undergo a visual inspection and electrical.

Burner Air Filter: Check the air filter to ensure that the burner is getting sufficient air supply for clean combustion. Filter needs to be cleaned and cleared of contaminants, which can be a dirty oven.

Burner Motor and Blower Impeller: The blower fan motor needs to be cleaned to avoid overheating. Eliminate buildup of dirt on the housing and cooling fins. The fan impeller should be cleaned regularly to maintain the blower in good condition, and maintain efficiency.
